Apprenticeship Details:


Role Overview
As an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians to maintain vehicles to the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will gain hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair while developing the skills, knowledge, and professional attitude to build a successful career in the motor industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work safely and follow all Health & Safety policies
  • Assist technicians with vehicle repairs following Renault procedures
  • Learn to use specialist tools safely and efficiently
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
  • Ensure all job documentation is accurate and follow warranty procedures
  • Report vehicle defects to the Workshop Supervisor
  • Attend college courses and technical training to achieve required standards


General Duties

  • Support and contribute to a strong team ethos
  • Develop your skills, attitude, and character for professional growth
  • Maintain workshop facilities and equipment to Renault standards
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times

Skills & Personal Qualities
Essential Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, ability to follow and enhance processes, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills Personal Qualities: Genuine interest in the retail motor industry, commitment to providing excellent customer service, determination, motivation, and a positive attitude

Qualifications
GCSEs grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science, or demonstrable knowledge in these areas. Passion and desire to work in the motor industry.
